Mike Kompon (born February 21, 1982) is a Canadian professional ice hockey center who currently plays for the Belfast Giants in the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL). ==Playing career== Undrafted, Kompon played collegiate hockey with Miami University (Ohio) in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association. Upon graduation Mike made his professional debut in the 2005 season with minor league team, the Quad City Mallards of the then United Hockey League. After a second season travelling within the minor leagues, Kompon left for Europe signing with EHC München of the 2nd Bundesliga. In the 2011–12 season, Kompon returned to North America after 5 seasons abroad as EHC München's franchise leading scorer in Germany, signing a one-year deal with Central Hockey League team, the Allen Americans on August 23, 2011. Before starting the season with the Americans, Kompon was loaned to the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League appearing in 7 games. Upon his return to Allen, Kompon played in 6 games before he was lured back to EHC München as an injury replacement for the remainder of the campaign on November 26, 2011. With ambitions to coach at a college level shelved by his return, Kompon scored 14 points in 26 games and was signed to a further one-year extension on March 23, 2012. Kompon continued his career to Japan in signing a one-year contract abroad with Oji Eagles of the Asia League Ice Hockey on August 9, 2013. After an expected high scoring season with the Eagles, and as one of the leagues best players, Kompon left as a free agent to continue his journeyman career in the United Kingdom on a one-year contract with the Belfast Giants of the EIHL on August 12, 2014. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Mike Kompon」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
